Founded by Duncan Cheney, Christo Construction brings together expert craftsmanship, deep project experience, and a passion for quality that shows in every detail. We’re not here for quick flips or cosmetic updates. We take on the big jobs—the ones that reimagine a space from the ground up and help our clients fall in love with where they live.

Meet Duncan Cheney

Duncan is a licensed Residential Builder and General Contractor with over a decade of experience in construction, real estate development, and community-focused housing. Before launching Christo Construction, Duncan developed housing projects for community development organizations, gaining a reputation for his hands-on leadership and practical expertise across the full development cycle—from acquisition and finance to design and construction.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from the University of New Orleans and excels in project estimation, real estate analysis, and construction management. In 2016, he founded Christo Construction to pursue high-quality renovation and development projects across Charleston, including both private home renovations and select affordable housing projects.
